These sink float and capacity worksheets separate water support, paper-cargo placement and container holding amounts rather than treating them as one test.

A practical way to use the collection
Use supplied paper cases to distinguish three questions; optional adult-managed observations follow the separate instructions in each guide.
Choose a comfortable starting point
Common adult-supported range: ages 7–8. Individual guides suggest ages 5–8, 7–10 and 6–9. Every practical water setup requires active adult management; the paper-only route is complete.
Important differences and limits
Paper Boat Cargo Challenge uses a large preformed paper bowl, not origami instructions, with at most two large folded whole-paper cargo pieces. Capacity is a defined holding amount, not a safe cargo rating. Floating, staying upright and keeping cargo dry are different observations. Optional practical work requires continuous adult supervision, a shallow stable unbreakable tray and each guide’s suitability checks; adults alone pour. No small or heavy weights, glass, drinking or electrical proximity. Stop on wetting, tipping, bottom or side contact or uncertainty; never deepen water to force a result. Empty and dry immediately. No water, supplies, boat certification or guaranteed result is included.
Print and use
English-language US Letter printable, non-fillable PDFs. Follow each component’s print and use instructions. No app or A4 edition. Use your own suitable printing, paper and materials. This separate collection is not the free 15-book family bonus. No guaranteed learning outcome.
Household use
