Choose a starting point

Pick a pack by the kind of thinking involved: count a square budget, sketch a crossing, satisfy three clues or revise a design after a requirement changes. Read the selected pack's example and check a drawing against its stated rules. Example solutions support discussion; open design tasks can have more than one valid response.

Check for overlap before buying

This bundle combines the same four packs sold individually. There are no exclusive extra activities or bonus packs. If you already own any of the titles above, their content is repeated here.

Each of the four PDF editions contains all four complete packs, with PDF bookmarks for navigation. Printed page numbering restarts at each component pack.

Materials and safe use

Paper and pencil are enough for every core challenge, with crayons optional. Some packs allow adult-selected, age-appropriate construction materials or adult-cut tiles as optional additions. No toy, water, weights, tools or testing equipment is supplied or required.

These pages are drawing invitations, not engineering specifications or proof of structural safety. Do not build load-bearing structures, stand on or load models, make real crossings, water-test designs, move furniture, use live animals or introduce electricity. Adults handle cutting and follow any optional toy's manual and age rating. Keep small parts away from children who mouth objects; do not mix magnetic systems or use damaged magnets.

Your files and printing choices

The download ZIP contains four PDF editions plus a README. Each has the same 104 pages. Choose ONE edition to print:

• A4 Color (210 x 297 mm).
• A4 Low Ink (210 x 297 mm).
• US Letter Color (8.5 x 11 inches).
• US Letter Low Ink (8.5 x 11 inches).

104 pages means pages per edition, not four times that amount of different content. Covers, guides and answer or support pages are included in the page count. The English-language PDFs are printable, not digitally fillable forms.

Open the ZIP, read the README and choose your paper size and color preference. Print selected pages portrait and single-sided. Start at actual size / 100%; check the preview and use fit to printable area if edges clip. You need a ZIP/PDF reader and printer access. Paper, ink and supplies are not included.

Household printing license
